The Democratic Socialist Assembly today ratified the alliance proposal with the Social Liberal Union, though the Congress was somewhat divided on the matter.

With eleven votes in favour and five votes against, the proposal for an alliance with the Social Liberal Union was passed in Congress this morning. While a majority was for the alliance, a notable number of nations voiced their concerns during the voting period.
Many nations voting against the proposal praised the friendship between the DSA and the SLU and only opposed the proposal because of the defensive pact contained therein.
The SLU has not yet made their voting results public.
